Why would the RFL change our fixture to benefit Cas yet Leeds (who Cas play on the thursday after our game) are still playing there game on the Sunday 7th June, what about player welfare for the Leeds team?

Widnes play on the sunday at Magic Weekend yet have to back up on the Thursday against Hull. I wonder how the RFL would react if they tried to bring their Magic Weekend game forward to the Friday..

Same happened to us this year when Salford requested a change for their Sunday Thursday dilemma got changed 2/3 week pre ko. Almost makes me ask why kr didn't just accept the change request from us, least we asked in February.... So I do contest his comments somewhat . but I get its a frigging pain,

Why should we though? we play our home games on a Sunday
Other teams have had to play Sunday and then Thursday.

If it is player welfare related then can we postpone the Salford game indefinitely? There is no way we can play that game with anything better than playing 3 games in 8 days. Surely a precedent has been set.

An absolute dissgrace, I have taken a days holiday for the Sunday which I now can't cancel, I can't get the match day off so another waste of my pass. I have sent a nasty Email to the RFL but I doubt they will even reply. They can't even use the moved for TV excuse. Just another mess in the long line of RFL cock up's. Can't they understand that we have chosen to play sundays for a good reason? we are a family club with a lot of youngsters & familys attending 8pm night time kick offs are no good to us let alone the change at such short notice. I am not happy (or any other verticaly chalenged person)

If this had been an isolated case this season I wouldn't be so annoyed (just slightly annoyed instead).

Mistake 1: They scheduled our game against Salford when they knew we had a cup game
Mistake 2: Scheduling a game not allowing 4 days minimum to recover (namely Cas although probably others not inc Easter)
Mistake 3: Another game will also have to move to accomodate Salford and give the 4 rest days either way. No doubt this will be ANOTHER home game.

So potentially 3 home games will be played on different dates to those published back in October. Or to put it another way, about 27% of games on my season pass (not counting any moved by Sky).

We all lead very busy lives these days and have to juggle work and family commitments to try to get to as many games as possible. I am now likely to be out of pocket unless I can keep changing my personal commitments, just because a feckless idiot at the RFL can't do his job properly. Also, these changes will almost certainly result in lower away support and therefore less income for the club.

Both Hull teams are looking thinking when the hell do we fit our game in hand in, really does put you at a disadvantage against the other teams if you have 3 games in 8 days and that might have to happen. Where is the player welfare then.

Let's concentrate on the cup if we end up in the middle 8s so be it there's no chance of us been relegated as Leigh are far and away the best championship team and there garbage really so let's go all out for the cup
