| A one year deal will work in your favour.
He is on a $500k contract this year - mostly paid by Canberra I imagine - and he has a year to prove he is worth another decent contract, either back in the NRL or in the ESL.
He basically has to have a good year, or face retirement.

| It is official (on Rovers website), a one year deal, and we can all sigh with relief he will be played in the halves.
Reading between the lines of the articles (on Rovers website) it would seem Rovers salary cap is now exhausted, meaning the search for a 9 is off with Chester going with Carlile and Boudebza (and Robinson).
Totally agree with Roopy's assessment of the deal; I guess it will come down to how the player and Rovers manage his game time, keeping a player healthy with his track record is going to need handling with kids gloves.

| Don't really know what to make of this, it certainly will add depth and will take away the worry of losing one of our halves to injury.
Not really seen a lot of him but he certainly ticks the experience box and on a one year deal its probably a risk worth taking, suppose the down side is if he's rubbish he'll be off after a year but equally if he's great its likely to be the same outcome.

| Still really not sure about how this leaves us . Our hooker doesn't look great our back row is weak and were still short of a prop

| While we have him on the pitch(in the halves) he should be one of the best in E.S.L while we dont were no worse off and maybe, if he is the right sort of character, he can improve our young halves with his knowledge and experience while fit or not either way stronger by far than a few days ago

| Think were ok in the front row to be honest and were well covered in back row but we have a lot of 'potential' in the back row and a lot will depend on whether or not it's fulfilled. But yeah i agree with the hooker position plenty of options just none proven.

Canberra Raiders captain Terry Campese signs with Super League's Hull Kingston Rovers'"
Quality Reporting lol
Campese will join former Raiders teammate Michael Weyman at Hull FC, the same club that produced Canberra's latest hooker recruit Josh Hodgson

| On paper we possibly have the best halves in the league, and our backiline looks exciting. I'm obviously worried about the lack of a quality hooker and the fact that the team needs to gel.
I don't think Hudgell and Crossland could have backed CC anymore, they have done a great job!
