| After thursday nights game it was a good effort tonight,a few errors for their trys dumb defending at times and as usual we dont get many 50/50 calls.and with poores injury to contend with maybe not too bad a result , my concern tonight was how many times we had players laid around the ruck on the floor when le cats played the ball.Nice to have a week off see if we get any players back.

Without a doubt the best defender I have seen in our time in SL. He cuts props down like a lumberjack.

| I have to admit I was a bit disappointed with him at first, but the last 2 or 3 games he looks to be getting fitter or more settled in and really starting to look the part, my only worry is he sometimes seems to over do the ball handling bit when a drive in would be more effective, but definately winning me over. Weyman has looked class right from the off, and is a more than adequate replacement for Mickey Paea, doing more minutes too.

| Weyman has been fantastic since the Wigan game. Gave a masterclass in the derby of modern prop play then did 70 quality minutes in Catalan. Best prop in the league with Hill and Amor. Never shirks anything 1st class defender. Last off the ruck every time. My favourite player this season.
Costigan is vicious in defence. Hit Miller in the derby near our line 1st half and Miller left hunched over for their attacking set. Completely threw their attack out as he wasn't able to get involved. The bigger the players the more he likes hitting them. He does nothing in attack. Never has. His passing is good and they are clearly worked moves. Wayne Bennett's quote about him works out 'I've had lots of players who would die for me on the pitch. Nev is the only one who would kill for me'. Olima didn't know how lucky he was Monday.
All the new signings have contributed and improving each week.
Next 6 fixtures will tell us how we'll go this year. Shame the injuries are mounting. Need a Walker back now Poore is out. Green is looking good. Another good defender.

2 other props who must be challenging for being in the top 3 are Walmsley and despite his years Peacock

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| I love JP, I could have a bromance with him.
He is just the definition of an RL prop.
Last year at Headingley we were winning and Leeds scored, he marched back towards The Western Terrace and metaphorically rolled his sleeves up, looked at all his team mates and told them all that if they put as much sheer blood, guts and determination into the game, they'd win.
An absolute warrior.
