whilst leaving the kids to argue over who is the least bad team, back to today. I would love to see the stats for today's game. The fact we had at a guess 70% territory advantage and only scored three times shows that there is something not quite right. The defense has improved but in attack there's no organisation. I thought Charlie and Costigan were trying to shake things up a bit, but even a limited Bradford pack held us up time and time again, today is not really a benchmark to set our performances by and next week against wakey might be a better idea of where we are, it is another must win game.

Costigan was rubbish again. I clocked him jogging behind the play the ball so he couldn't get the ball quite a few times. He's far too unfit and letting himself down IMHO

We did get over their line several times to be fair, they just happened to be very good at preventing the ball being put down. I thought our forwards were a lot better and will get better. The halves were showing signs of what we want as well. Cockayne was very good today, perhaps he should be given a few games at FB. |

I think it was so obvious that we were going to drive for the line AGAIN that it was easy (In relative terms) to stop it by getting bodies in the way. |

A lack of creativity was a worry today.We will not play against a poorer team than Bradford and not have as much possession close to the line as we did this afternoon.We could've won that by 50 with smarter kicks and passes.
Still,a win is a win,hopefully we'll kick on from here.

Ugly win but at least it's a win. Bradford didn't offer much in attack though.
Keating getting better but Charlie should have been MoM. He was popping up everwhere.
5 players held up over the line is very poor. Tells me that they aren't running with enough conviction.
If we play like that next week, Wakey will turn us over easily.
