Quote: Rupert Pupkin "Obviously from the East stand it was hard to tell what actually went on in the tackle but for me it looked like the Bradford player got up ended and dumped on his head. If that is the case, then someone is going to be missing the next few games.
Another small point that annoyed me yesterday was the poor kicking from Keating after a penalty, making 15m just isn't enough.'"
Yeh, it looked like 'player' possibly went above the horizontal and landed neck/shoulder region. That said, it was so low down, it was impossible for any player to correct it, once it happened. Don't think the genius Hicks saw anything in it until the player showed signs of injury.
Given the total forward domination and territory, 3 tries was a disappointing return. Obviously the weather played it's part but as others have alluded to, no dummy runners or guile at times. Little pop up passes to the oncoming forwards was at best a little predictable in the end. Although Bradford offered next to nothing going forward, I thought their commitment to the cause was top notch. Especially when you consider losing two larkers in the first stevo stanza.
Kicking, yes I'm sure in the first half he didn't even make 10m. Even Webbo with a back wind could muster 12m.
