i dont think the rovers team is that bad. but i have always wondered if sandy was able to get those blood and guts displays out of his players that Morgan used to. which quite frankly terrorised an agar coached Hull. dobbo was one of the most complete 7's the super league era has seen, replacing him is a task the best coaches in the business wouldn't fancy taking on. 'amongst the best' sandy most certainly isnt, and thats putting it very politely. just look at problems Hull and saints have had replacing cooke and long. Warrington with briers might prove the same.

We're not that bad.ANY team would've struggled with our fixtures.But the problems stem from last season and the coach has had all of the off season to work on things.At the very least,he needs help doing that.
And i'd love Houghton in our team,he should be an England regular.

Although i agree we have had a hard start to the season but should that matter these teams are in the same competition playing off the same salary cap so why are they so far infront of us there not just beating us (huddersfield apart) we have been terrible we have had 2 and abit years of excuses from sandercock injuries poor referees there team have more internationals which we have sort of believed or let him off or give him some slack but over his reign can anybody remember us actually looking a good team or being proud of what they have been doing on the field? I'm not saying sandy has all been bad i know the club off the field have gone forward and professionalism of the club seems a whole lot better but all that good work is being undone by us going backwards on the pitch

The results for you guys have gone the way you would expect (barring Cas probably), HOWEVER, the performances have been very very poor. If you want to challenge for honours, or even playoffs!, you should at least be competing against these teams, unfortunately you're not. If you were only getting beaten by 6 points, there wouldn't be as much doom and gloom on here, even though you'd still only be on 1 league point. Fans can take getting beat when the team put all their effort in and come up just short against a better team, it just seems like your boys aren't doing that. To quote Remember The Titans, "attitude reflects leadership".

Before the season started I think all realistic Robin fans would have seen us after five games with 2 points, so come next Friday at 10 pm we may be 1 point lighter on the ladder, or 1 point better ??
Saying that things need to improve dramatically and quickly for the coach. Is it just me or would he talk a glass eye to sleep.
Bang in the game at half time and yet again Sandy and yes Chester fail to lift the players for the second half.
Our back 5 seem to have lost the art of catching, passing or reading of the game and our 2 aussie props seem to be blowing out of there backsides after 15 minute spells.
Dobbo like Fergie boots were always going to be tough to fill but please Kris stop hiding behind Burns otherwise you should find yourself in the stands , time to play Hall or Beharall at 7 if no improvement next 2 games.

Hodgson and Houghton are different players, both have different strenghts, personally I wouldn't swap Houghton for Hodgson and I am sure most Rovers fans wouldn't swap Hodsgon for Houghton.

Looking Rovers season, i think Sandy has messed up with his recruitment. Anyway who has watched NRL the last couple of years could see Keating is not want Rovers wanted, he has done out and signed a load of tough old school forwards, but there is absolutely no pace or skill in any of the Rovers forwards (Lovegrove and Green maybe the exceptions).

Backs still have the same defensive problems. I really like Eden and he is an outstanding talent on his day, but he mist be so frustrating to watch and he just doesnt seen to be improving with his mistakes. I wonder if he would be better at stand off? Burns to LF or hooker.

If i was NH, Sandy would get until Easter and if no significant improvements where made I would be looking to get rid and bring in a new coach, I reckon James Webster would be the man.
