Thought we matched Leeds pack for the whole of the 1st half and probably went in at half time the stronger side. The second half we just didn't turn up. The left edge was shocking and Welham in particular has to be singled out for criticism for some really poor reads and jumps out the defensive line.

Welham does what Yeaman does jumps out of the line to make the tackle which looks great when it comes off but teams just run in when it doesnt.
I would rather they didn't and just kept the straight line defence as your timing as got to be so perfect.

In the second half we seemed to have morphed into a powder puff pack who just seemed to get rolled over. |

Very encouraging first half , thought we were a little unlucky not to turn around in front.
Leeds stepped it up second half and we never really came out of the sheds

It wasn't great in the first half as if you think about it Ben Cockayne had to 'solve' it himself by jumping the line more than once and thankfully they didn't keep going back there.
In the second half they did and it was always going to be a matter of time before the gaps appeared because when Watkins and Briscoe get that much space you are always going to pay in the end. |
