6731_1299024498.jpg [quote="King Street Cat":1wa9s43t]Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.[/quote:1wa9s43t]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_6731.jpg |

| Quote: Legends and Icons "What are sales at now ?? Cp and kc'" Around 3,000 standing tickets for the CP matches plus whatever has been sold in the seating areas. No idea about the KC.

| Yes good point Artist, I suppose anybody who knows about premier will be more inclined to go to their local matches anyway. As long as its increasing the profile of the sport i'm happy. Super League may even manage a sponsor next season!

| Does anybody else think England have a chance? Personally I think we have a big shot at the Final, I know NZ and Aus have won all their games but I don't think their margins of improvement have been as big as ours. Im not sure about M.McIlorum or L.Cudjoe though they are good players but don't know if they add anything to the team. S.Tomkins is yet to show the world stage what he can do hopefully he does and England RL might get the credit they deserve.

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| I think we've got a chance but for all that PNG were a bit rubbish NZ were very, very good for thirty minutes on Friday night.
I don't think it always comes across on the telly but at the game The Kiwis line speed in defence was frightening and their right edge with SBW, Whare (who I thought was outstanding) and Tuivasa-Sheck has got it all, pace, power, slight of hand, an almost telepathic understanding and booming tackles in defence.
I also really worry about our defence around the ruck, Isaac Luke as well as being the world's best face puller is like a slippery electric eel out of dummy half.
Off to Italy v Tonga this afty, it'll be nice to see The Shay finished, I always thought it was a really tidy little ground when we were in the same division as Fax.
