| So the NRC has been cut due to a lack of a sponsor (Lets not kid ourselves here no matter what BS the RFL come up with).
I do wonder if the rebels knew and then though 'Hang on you want more of our money when you cannot even maintain or acquire sponsorship of the NRC?'

Rovers (along with five other clubs) walked out on a meeting of SLE that was to discuss re-structuring.

In principle, I'm not at all keen on conflating the issues of competition format and commercial revenues.
But maybe it makes sense politically. Not immediately clear what we're after though. Better commercial management is an obvious answer, but unless we think cutting to 12 will damage chances of that or better management requires new management/governance, it could (imo should) be dealt with seperately. Maybe the real issue is the format (or some aspects of it, possibly varying from rebel club to rebel club) and the rebels need to create a procedural roadblock, in the hope of... I'm really not sure what.

Apart from our delightful neighbours we were in good company when we walked out.

If it's over a reduction in funds I cannot see Salford, Cas, London, Bradford or Widnes going for that.
So either we have turkey's actually voting for Christmas or it's over something else. My guess would be the governance of the RFL.
Like I have said on the VT I get the feeling GH want's the top job at the RFL so won't want to rock boats. If that is the case you can count out Leeds and Wakey straight away.
Do Cas, Bradford, Salford, London or Widnes want to make foes at the RFL? I doubt it.
That leaves Saints as the only team I can't figure out but let us not forget they were against it so I await their responce with interest.
