This seasons highlight for me was Hull F.C. going to the CC Final.
Having the city to ourselves was an eye opening experience.
The entire city felt a happier place, almost everyone was walking around smiling or whistling.
And the HDM was a pleasure to read for the following 3 or 4 evenings, full of news reporting on flowers shows, scarecrow competitions and general easy living topics.
No burglary, mugging or benefit cheat articles.
We were given an a glimpse of what could have been.
Anyone else notice anything different that weekend?
