Let's look at the facts.

The lad came over as a teenager and has given his all. This was from our first season in Super League and he really had very little job security and left his family and friends to travel half way across the world.

That was over six years ago.

He's constantly put his body on the line, and done absolutely everything that any coach has ever asked of him. To his own personal detriment he's played every position other than six, seven and nine.

Fair enough I've taken the rise out of him for his lack of French language skills in the past, but come on Rovers, Rhys is one of us.

Do we want committed players that buy in to our ideals, beliefs, traditions and are prepared to give that back in spades?

I'm right frepped off with this rumour. He's such a likeable lad and plays every game to his best ability. That try against Leeds summed up his playing career, sheer grit and determination to succeed. Exactly the type of player we need and more so, the type of player we do not want to be letting go - particularly to our bitter rivals.
