Quote barham red="barham red"Seem the FC lot have found there new hate figure in a rovers shirt, the shirt vacated by Clint has found a new home, it was Welhams for the taking but his injury has seen him lose it.
On a more serious note I thought Burns was ok in patches yesterday, ran the line well and made some decent breaks then his head totally went, did he lose us the game, probably not, I thought Hull were the better team and reasonable value for their win, we struggled to make metres and had some real head fart decisions on the last tackle. What Burns did do was two fold, one he has set himself up to be spot balled by refs, he will get similar treatment to Bailey and Hock were the refs look out for him and as such he attracts more penalties. Secondly he has probably got himself banned when we are at the barebones already. We will be missing essentially a full pack and now Eden and the already missing Welham it was a problem CS really didn’t need.
The Lineham thing was disappointing, don’t like to hear that but for the FC fans taking the moral highgound they maybe need to look closer to home, when Eden went off a big section of their crowd were cheering and waving him off, its an ugly side to the game but I don’t see it going away anytime soon.
On the whole a disappointing result, poor quality game and more worryingly more long term injury issues.'"
Not me mate ,I liked Clint, proper wind up artist towards Hull fans, which is part of the game. Burns is a cheap shot merchant, whichever way to try to gloss it.
I agree with you about cheering when a player is injured, its pathetic and there is no need for it.
