If anyone is at a loose end on Sun 18 August, (Hull and Rovers games are on the Friday), the annual charity rugby match arranged by my Nephew, William Hawkins, and Stagecoach drivers will be played at Marist Sporting Club, Cranbrook ave, and will kick off at 12 noon. This year it is in aid of The Alzheimers Society, after the game the fun will continue with bouncy castles, and a disco in the club house. There will also be a raffle and auction with a boxing glove signed by David Hayne, signed Rugby memorabilia including a Ball signed by Rovers players, we are hoping to have one of team shirts signed by Rovers and Hull players up for auction.
This has always been a great afternoon of fun, so if you fancy it, it's just £1 entry, all money raised going to charity.
