The England v Fiji game could be an historic moment for our sport.
Fiji are shaping as the team most likely to knock off one of the big three and they look very likely to have iconic players Civo, Uate, Hayne, Tuquiri all on board.
They have a pool of over 30 players with NRL and ESL experience to choose from and big Petro is playing a year of Qld cup just so he can be ready to lead Fiji in the world cup. New Fiji stars like Koroibete, Sutton, Tariq and Korbin Sims and Waqa are emerging this year, and there are even more in the juniors and lower grades who will emerge in the next few years. Most NRL clubs have scouts looking for talent in Fiji now.
All the PI countries will put up better sides in this WC, but Fiji are leading the way.
Rick Stone is a good coach and he is hatching a plan to put together a great squad for the WC, and the game he is targeting as their most important is the England game.
