Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "As an outsider to Hull KR I ask this question not with glee but with genuine interest in what is going to happen in 2014, when restructuring will be organised based on where the clubs finish up. (There is no doubt that whatever new system is chosen, the top tier competition of Super League will be reduced to 12 clubs at the maximum).
Dobson will be impossible to replace. He was a star not only at Hull KR, but before that at Catalans and Wigan. There are just not enough quality scrum halves in NRL, let alone Super League, to replace him with similar quality. The exciting scrum half prospect in Australia is Sam Williams, who is a reserve at Canberra. But he is not yet the finished product. It would be a risk throwing him into the battle of Super League without proper preparation Down Under.
Add on the loss of Cory Paterson, who has been outstanding for Hull KR, and you can see that the club's strike power will be diminished (Costigan can be a good defender, but not much in attack, certainly nothing compared to Paterson).
My projection is that Hull KR is going to drop to the bottom 4 in 2014. If so, where it sits in the bottom 4 will determiine which division it starts out in for the 2015 season.
Again, though I am a follower of Catalans (who are currently underperforming) and London (who are dire), I can assure you that I write this not in glee but just trying to be realistic.
Do Hull KR fans agree?'"
No.
