100% agree. Looks really really bad. Looks worse the further away you get aswell. You can see all the scaffolding behind the cheap plastic. Looks like it's a permanent structure though which is very worrying. As more things happen you can clearly see why Neil Hudgell wasn't a happy bunny.

It would be better if they take them off and just cap off the top of the brickwork.
It no longer looks like they serve any purpose.
