Quote: phil webbo "To be fair Easty, the colour was given on a fob as a generic colour for planning purposes, then they were ordered in that colour thinking it had been agreed, it was only noticed when I was going round with Hobson and Porters and then asked at the next project board meeting when they were to be painted, so yes it was a cock up, as far as the seats are concerned they have been agreed by the club, they had a choice of any configuration they wanted and that is what was chosen.'"
I agree with Easty why not follow the west stand scheme with mostly red seats and white seats for the 'HKR', can see no point in having it any other way, if this has been signed off by the club, think they have made a mistake. White will show dirt and scratches easier, maybe won't see it from a distance but close up possibly, meaning more maintenance, replacement, mostly red would be more practical.
But at the end of the day I really appreciate what Neil and Rob and all the other directors have achieved over these last 9 years or so, they have put their money where their mouth's are and nobody can knock them, the minor details are outweighed by the fact we have this stand at all and they've improved the club both on and off the field beyond what we ever expected in the national league and this stand regardless of colour scheme has happened because of them.
