Ah well, disappointed but not seriously disheatened. Very impressed with Catalans, like watching Huddersfield last night. They just got too much ball & field position in the 1st half (a fair bit of it thanks to Bentham) & their big forwards just went through us. Momentum is hard to stop unfortunately, we scored points when the penalties dried up & the possession started to even up a bit but just had too much to do. Thought Tui, Carlile & Lovegrove did well off the bench.

What was the attendance ? And was the cockerill present ?

thats a good attendance, should see with the arrival of away fans get around 8,500 so not bad at all.

Sandercock said in his Harry Poole Bar that the players were super confident before the game and they tried too hard. My mate's Dad spoke to Liam Salter in the car park and he said we made 21 errors which validates that.

It was disappointing the players couldn't steady themselves in the first half and gone in 6/12 points down because I'm sure we would have gone on to win the game.

Discipline and sloppy errors cost us.
I thought Withers had probably the worst 40 mins he has had with us in the first half.
Second half showed a few positives though and should give us some confidence to take into Saturday.

Don't know where to start first half thought the ref was poor had a better second half, thought Carlisle had a good game and thought hodgy was better in the forwards, thought salter and caro were good but when I saw the Catalan pack I was like oh oh, they're gonna be a force this season menzies is a bloody robot lol
