Biography


Walker is regarded as one of the fine prospects progressing through the Giants development system and will be looking to kick on in 2012 after first team appearances against Salford and Hull KR in 2010 and 2011 respectively.

Aged only 20, Walker has many years ahead of him to mature into the role of prop forward and his dual-registration loan at Barrow Raiders last year will certainly have helped. He went on to play on 14 occasions for the Co-Operative Championship side and will be hoping for more Super League appearances under his belt in 2012. This could well be the case as the injuries sustained by fellow forwards in the team during pre-season could well provide a pathway for Walker in the opening weeks of the season and will give him the chance to shine.

I'm not sure what point it is your trying to make?

Someone said he could be at the same level as Chris Hill, I asked how long it took Chris Hill to get to that level, hence the start of a debate between Sir Stan and I. (which you've jumped in on)

I'm pretty sure that's what these forum's are for. It hasn't turned into a slanging match, or a hull v Rovers slanging match, no insults thrown,

Unless your gonna say this has gone over my head of course.

'Jumped in on' - don't be so precious, you're posting on a public forum chief.

You'd probably be in a better position to 'debate' if you were atleast aware of the facts surrounding Chris Hill & his move to Warrington, instead of simply assuming that because he wasn't in SL earlier that he wasn't good enough at the time.

Im suggesting that if he was good enough 4/5 years ago that he would have been in S/L chief, IMO some team would have made him a good enough offer, or maybe he wasnt rl]goodrl] enough but his form has improved greatly over the last couple of seasons and teams started to take notice.
I don't know Chris Hill personally so obviously I can only assume all of this
