Presumably not a record level, unless it was over 6900 achieved in 2009. But if that was the case, your target of 7,000 would most likely not be a record level. This might be a prudent target, but a bit modest in the context of the 6,900 passholders already achieved in 2009. And at least 5,000 Club Rovers members. Good brochure that, enjoyable read embellished with some silly showing off too. What were last year's pass sales? |

No, I've not got the current commercial brochure. The one for 2010 had lots of bar charts in it showing league position going up steadily to 4th, average attendances going up steadily to 9,000 and passholders going up from about 3,500 to 6,900. I haven't seen the subsequent commercial brochures with these charts updated,but in the case of the other two measures I guess there is a downward trend which you might not want to shout about to prospective sponsors. Don't know whether this trend is the same for season passholder numbers, only that the record of 6,900, which Rovers are talking about as their benchmark, is currently being beaten. Sorry. |

Ours will be a triumph if we pass 6000, being so late to release details. Yours however have been given the vegas treatment and will be expected to meet Adams target. I doubt it. |

Shifting 2000 plus in 12 days is a good effort. The £20.13 offer obviously distorts things, but 'record breaking' all the same against any other comparable 12 day period.
Makes headlines but I think we all know, it's just a good PR story. Which makes a nice change from some of the other stuff recently.
