To be fair i thought it was a shoulder charge when I saw it at the game. It was actually looks a legitimate tackle around the shoulders, albeit very early, but in that situation i think anyone else would have done the same. Should have been a penalty though.

Why? Like I said, the tackle wasnt as bad as I initially thought but it was clearly a tackle without the ball, so try, conversion then penalty under the sticks surely? |

| It wouldn't have been another kick at goal after the conversion though, that's only for foul play after the try scored/in the act of scoring. If we were given a penalty for it Dobson would have been pulled back to take a kick at goal, instead, advantage was played. (unfortunately not the only time for us that game  ) |
