Must be worth offering Taylor somewhere near Clintons money for a long contract, even though he's yet to establish himself as an England regular (plus Clinton was reportedly our highest paid player, how true I don't know) and his progress might level off rather than continue as it has in the last 2 years. Though obviously we're trying to spend less on the cap to offset losses while crowds are below break even, but we could still do that with a smaller squad and a few larger contracts not being extended.
