Quote: east hull FC fan "James Green, I'm assuming he's the 10? Despite knocking down Hulls forwards like skittles going forward, in defence, he hardly got one on their back all game.
Peterson, the one with the stupid hair? Lots of energy, decent enough, but won't make it IMO.
Sherriffe? Was he the one that dropped 2 bombs and let a kick off go out the back door?
I don't think anyone out there today showed enough to mean SL is just around the corner. Maybe it was down to the game being very one sided and the Hull lads being vastly more inexperienced, Bowden has shown he can do SL, after all.'"
Bowden is a perfect case in point.
He was completely overshadowed by Green today and, in all honesty, doesn't look at the same level. Yet, from what I have seen, he has held his own perfectly well in Super League so far.
Surely on that basis alone, you must accept Green is an imminent Super League player waiting to happen?
Be honest, who would you rather have?
John Kear certainly thinks Green is SL-class, having seen him first-hand at Batley and it's no secret that, it has been Green's development which precipitated Craig Sandercock's willingness to release Wheeldon and Watts.
