Indeed. I didn't really want to say it. But it smacks of double standards in a way. One one hand he's here playing basically as a British citizen to the RFL, but on the other saying he has no affiliation to this country and is basically an Aussie, bending the rules to his advantage.
I hear what he's(you're) saying about it would be lesser honour because he's not English born, but I still see a bit of a conflict of interests. Still, I haven't actually heard the interview so shouldn't really be drawing any conclusions.
