The same gets said about Super Rugby in Union, the SH teams can't defend is all you ever hear, but you rarely see a team from the North run in any decent number of tries. The reason why that is, and why at times NRL defence can look poor, is because they're far superior on attack.

Well if the defence is rubbish then we should put high scores on the Australians, that's the logical conclusion of what you stated in your opening post.

If we can't and aren't going to put high scores on the Australians then it's clear that their defence isn't rubbish, but instead their attack happens to be awesome, something people often get mixed up.

It's a dichotomy, there is no middle position.

It's great watching a game in Aus we watched broncos v titans and rabbits v roosters nothing like over here tho enjoy

The atmosphere is rubbish compared to Super League (no chanting) but the standard of rugby is better

TBF - The atmosphere @ FC, us, Hudds, Wakey, Saints, London, Bradford etc hardly comes across well on TV half the time either.
