People tend to forget that he's only 22 and just moved to t'other side of the world. We cut our own kids no end of slack at that age, so why not accept his inconsistency is part of his leaning curve?

Apologies if i've got this wrong but I seem to remember roopy telling us that Mika himself thinks he should be a stand off. At times he seems to try and prove this when he should be just knuckling down and doing what's required of him in the position he is currently being picked to play in. I still think he can come good for us more consistently though given time

He's very hit and miss to say the least. Lazy 1st half but picked up 2nd.

The slagging off of Clint Newton was because when it was announced he was going, he didn't seem to put any effort in.

Nobody I know doubted Newton's ability, he just wanted out cos his mate was leaving. Newton was 26 when he signed and had a winners ring still shining from the previous season in the NRL. Im sure this was reflected in his salary.

Mika is a 22 year old prospect with lots to prove. Again, Im sure this is reflected in his pay packet.
