Yet the vast majority of player moves are rumoured and discussed in stands or on message boards in advance of formal announcements. Not all rumours are true, but most actual moves are rumoured before announced. You'd be daft not to pay attention to credible ones therefore. |

Didn't you say that when talking about the booing with reference to Scott Taylor 'didn't hear anyone booing him.'
That gives out the impression that you had belived it which was why I mentioned it as I couldn't belive you had taken it seriously.
If you are saying that you didn't belive it then fair enough but it has left me wondering what you actually meant. |

McDonnell is not going to Hull. When going in a certain phone shop at the beginning of the year he was offered an 18 month contract on a phone to which his wife/girlfriend said no as they would not be staying that long. That to me says he is either going back to Aus or France.

The Taylor one is interesting, mainly because he's a Hull lad whom everyone claims to know indirectly and is so highly prized by Rovers fans that he's been the subject of threads demanding he gets a 5 year deal. This therefore makes him "signing for Hull" an obvious wind-up. It could also be a deliberate bad news rumour by Rovers fans to be transformed into a good news contract extension story on derby week, for example - you know the drill. The reality is he's homegrown and a great prospect, and should therefore be a top priority. I'm sure he is, and a few weeks ago someone on here said the talks had taken place already, just wouldn't be announced yet. |
