Having an opinion on wether McDonnell is a good or bad player (good player that I wish was staying with us for me personally) is one thing, but booing him whilst he is still contracted to us and giving his all whilst wearing the Rovers shirt is moronic.

My MoTM was Dobbo by a country mile and I thought Dave Hodgson showed us what a great finisher he is. As for Shannon, yeah he shone today but he isn't happy at Rovers, he's made that plain by rejecting the club so should have expected a backlash.

We are a very insular club, we wear these rejections on our sleeve. However, Shannon showed today he was still part of the cause so fair play to him, he put in his best performance in a Rovers. I have to say though, whilst I didn't boo him (its against the grain to boo any Rovers player or performance) I am of the opinion he should be 'secondary' in Sandy's selection for the rest of the season. In the bigger picture that is my opinion and I stand by it.
