Quote Jake the Peg="Jake the Peg"=#FF0000Thought Hull were average in the first half. Plenty of field position and didn't do anything at all with it until radford scored. rovers defended well in the first half but then completely went to pieces after half time.
Not really sure what sandercock's game plan was today. if he expected his 5/6 props to blow Hull off the park then I doubt he's watched much video footage of us so far.
dobson was very quiet and your forwards looked pretty unfit and considering the forwards Hull had out it was really a game rovers should have won.
It's definitely the worst rover side I've seen since 2007'"
My thoughts as well, Jake.
I was a bit concerned at half time with the scores level. After all the worry during the week (on our side) about rovers "big pack" coupled with our perceived weakness in comparison, I thought we'd significantly won the arm wrestle, had by far the better use of possession and territory (contrary to everyone's predictions) and singulary failed to capitalise on our advantage leaving us with 6-6 scoreline at the break.
My worry was that having enjoyed the better of the game for the first forty minutes, we'd missed our opportunity to impose ourselves and the game would swing in favour of rovers in the second forty.
Of course, those fears turned out to be groundless, didn't they
