Cockayne tends to get talked about as hero or villain but it's never that simple. You know NOBODY is one dimensional apart from maybe that daft Hull fan with the Westerman pic.
Cockayne has made his mistakes, has paid the price and is gone. But anyone who has met him will tell you that he is by no means all bad, far from it. He had more time for people than any other player, he can be generous and kind hearted. He is a flawed individual who must accept the consequences of his actions but he is not the devil incarnate.
