I too would have had George over Hodgson. I agree he isn't a bad signing but I wasn't that excited when he signed. I don't think he's any better to what we have already got. Another thing is if he is to replace Colbon that would he would play on the right when he normally plays on the left.

in our current style of rugby, with the backs returning the ball from our exit sets, I agree that hodgson is a little flakey.

Theres the rub. To return the ball you have to gather or catch it under pressure. Fox and Colbon are of course both masters of the trade.
