If the story is true, it's a case of "when" and "how much compensation"? Morgan has nearly 18 months to go on his contract and Riolo is here (coincidentally, I'm sure, but would certainly be a shrewd partner to be present in negotiating any severance deal).
I think this is a bit mad. Morgan has had a few bad games in one season but has consistently over-delivered over a period of years. Plus it may damage Rovers recruitment plans if there is uncertainty over the head coach. Still, looks like it will be over sooner rather than later.
