Not certain on the year, but my OH seems to think it was early 90's.

I remembered us winning it; but I wasn't sure if it was back in the good old days or when we were both in the lower division.

at the end of the day it is disgracefull what happened today...
all teams should carry both home and away strips to each and every game just to avoid any poss colour clashes and such...

in regards to today, i put the blame fairly and squarely on hudds shoulders... they should not have been in their away strip anyways ,as this was classed as a home tie for them...

If so, why did Cas have to change, they will have brought their away kit. Hudds should have been made to change as they seemed to be in their away kit.

Me and my brother was at the Cas away game and just before the teams came out,and i swear this is true,he said "wouldn`t it be funny if we came out wearing Castleford shirts".We still can`t believe he said that to this day.And i think the year was 1992 because i seem to remember they were only a couple of weeks from the challenge cup final against Wigan,and we beat them.

Vaguely remember a team having to wear our Wastewise blue with green away shirt at our place one time.

For some reason, which I cannot recall (with it being away), I was the mascot for that Castleford game. At least I came out in the right shirt!
