FWIW, I don't think he will go anywhere.
BUT, The things that I don't understand are:
Why, even if it is all blown out of proportion, would a team even take a tiny, slight chance with their best player? The man who has been most influential in their time in the SL?
Also, this must mean that he is receiving private rehab for his injury, away from HKR, as the rules state a club cannot train or condition a player who is not on their club register?

Can't see any mention in the Operational Rules of any such power of veto. I might have missed it though. |

Kosh, with his underground network of informants, I think is probably nearest to the truth.
Rovers' speak to the RFL about getting Mason over on one of his myriad passports (he's got more than James Ruddy Bond), RFL say okay, Mason arrives. Other parties with interest (SL chair people/who ever) find out, contact the RFL. Rovers' forced into this course of action as a face saving exercise for all concererned.
Mason becomes Tongan, Dobson re instated, episode concluded.
Summat like that. |

i agree taking any chances with Dobbo is insane, thats why I'm hoping there is no risk of losing him whatsoever. |

Yes, because RL clubs have no history whatsoever of cutting their own noses off to spite their faces.
Also, everyone else has managed just fine for years. Only Rovers are incompetent enough to need special treatment.  |
