Talking up charges being laid as well, although TBF to say otherwise after the length and extent of the investigation wouldn't look great:
``If true, the allegations go to the heart and the integrity of the game,'' Det. Supt. Katsogiannis said. While he would not speculate on if or when charges would be laid, he said he was ``very optimistic'' about the chance of success.'"
Sounds like the Long/gleeson betting scandal, however as with everything they do in rugby league, the aussies just seem to have taken it to the next level. |
