I thought the key moment was Rovers holding out near the first half after Hull had a bout of pressure. Going in at 6-12 right at half-time could have given FC a big lift.Dobson's kicking game was excellent and I agree with the OP, out-enthused and out coached.
Could someone tell me why Bentham gave a penalty for offside instead of allowing Briscoe's try right near the end of the first half?

There was a forward pass and he went back to the first offence.

it wasn`t a try, he hit the corner flag first before the grounding, bentham saw this or got the call from the touch judge and then pulled it back for the offside in the build up for it.

Congratulations on the win. As Mrs B says we were completely out-enthused. The better team won and Rovers were the better team in every department.

nice to see a sensible post. When hall went off even though it was early enough for us to plan and change things we just couldnt seem to get over it. Not sure we was outclassed, again was another typical derby match. The difference being you probably found reasons to win more than we did.
