30596_1286642206.jpgIf there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I heard the weather forecast yesterday, said it would be over cast and rain, so off I went for a lovely twelve mile walk in the splendid country side of the Norther Peak District armed with my trusty rain coat, a few scotch eggs and a piping flask of soup.
It was sunny. Very sunny.
Today it appears that Ms. pmh spent the entire weekend slapping me about the chops with a kipper. Red raw is my face, red raw.
