Wheeldon's performances have been virtually annonymous this year which is a shame as during the scond half of last season I thought he really stood out at times.

Perhaps he needs a consistent run in the side with sufficient time on the field to make an impression. It worked with Lovegrove, so why not for Wheeldon?

However, he will probably need to bide his time until Watts needs a rest as he has really stood up this year. Up to Scott to get his head right and train the house down and prove to Morgs that he cannot be left out the squad.
