Had it not been a Sky game Fox's try would have stood and the outcome may have been different so need for knee jerk reactions.

It's not really a knee jerk reaction. Fisher's status in the team is clearly less than it was, despite still being our best hooker.

Playing a converted stand off/loose man or a young prospect ahead of your best hooker seems an unnecessary gamble. When Fish plays we seem to be more incisive and that was lacking in a game where on the balance of possession (whilst attacking the oppoinents line) we should have won easily.

His defensive ability has never been questioned.

From my persepective, why on earth you h ave moved Murrell from loose man to hooker is beyond me. Fisher I have always rated and find him dangerous. Likewise, as much as I dislike Murrell, I think he is a pretty good loose man. I think Morgan needs to have a good look and realise he may have got his tactics wrong.

As a Hull fan i was very pleasded to see Fisher not in the team whenever i have seen him play not just against us he always impressess, looks dangerous with the ball in hand i would have him as your first choice hooker. Morgan is like to many sl coaches who like utility players and not specialised.

I can see Morgans reasoning behind the move with 2 games in such a short period of time but Ben Fisher has always caused Hull problems previously.
