Quote Big Dave T="Big Dave T"Could Rovers be lining one of the Hudds hookers up as part of the move? Cooke to Wakey, Brough to Hudds and someone to Rovers?'"
If Hudds need someone off the cap to fit Brough in, and a suitable exchange can't be found with with Wakefield, it is possible. Unless Murrell reverts to stand-off or loose, I doubt we need a hooker. I suppose Hudds could use Drew as stand-off, making Brown available (unlikely IMO, especially given Drew and Brough's strained partnership at Wakey) or MacNally (more likely - but probably not clearing that much off their cap or giving us someone any more proven than I'anson). The possibilities are almost endless, but most likely IMO, is Cooke to Wakefield and Brough to Huddersfield for cash and a player. Hudds are 1 in 1 out, Wakey 2 in 2 out (including Newton) and we are a man down but a few quid up.
As Hull have done with Raynor's cash/cap space, I'd hold off in case of an emergency or surprise opportunity. This has fallen at a good time for I'anson, assuming his injury isn't serious, so I want to see if he can seize his chance.
