Quite a few ladies i have spoken to are going along to see Olly who dont normally attend games so the indications are good that it was a good booking by Rovers.

I agree it appears to be a good move which will attract a few more, however I think the thing that will bring them back to future games is what happens on the pitch and the overall experience of the fan.

No it wasn't. In the very short term yes. But, think about it, booking Leon Jackson 2 or 3 years ago (whatever year he won it) might have seemed a good idea at the time, but if we used him now it would not add any fans IMO (as he's finished ). As a community club I think they should be doing all their can to help local aspiring artists, imagine how much it would mean to a band usually playing to 20-30 people in Red Lion to getting to gig in front of 9000.
Sorry for the rant guys, just feel strongly about this.
