He had experience in the NRL first grade with South Sydney and St.George-Illawarra before signing for Whitehaven. In fact I believe he was part of Souths first team squad when Haven signed him, so its not like he came over here with no pedigree and went back to Australia a complete unknown before miraculously making the Melbourne side in fairytale fashion.
He also played in first grade for Wests Tigers in 2008.
He's always been a good player, just never got a sustained run of first team rugby for some reason.

Yet 1 the experts from FC said we would never win.
Alhough they also said.
We would never beat a SL side whilst in the NL's.
We would never be allowed in SL as the RFL dont want 2 Hull Teams.
We would never win a game in SL
We would never win an away game in SL
We would never stay in SL anyway.
We would never get a francise.
