no if i was, youd be shut
id leave all that to hudgell and co...they keep you open
in all seriuosness though, im led to beleive the stumbling block regards clinton is the fact that
1. he doesnt want to leave brisbane/australia
2. he would want a pay-off from the bronco's in order to leave..
but there could be an oppotunity as the broncos want rid of a top earner...could be the best for both party's...

| Quote rover49="rover49"Hudge said in the RL press that Rovers had been looking at all three of the named players and that they are interested in two of them, but won't be taking the Joel Clinton interest any further.
Mind you, he did say we were not talking to Cooke '"
indeed, usually chairpersons distance them selves from sigings so-as they dont get into a bidding war with rival clubs etc...
kafusi would be a good siging though, strong, aggressive, come from a good set-up at the storm, also played rep for queensland and australia which i didnt know about...so he would fit the bill for you as you have lost alot of size and power up front...to be honest ive never heard of the other guy you were linked with, anyone know his name etc??

Kaufusi had a very poor 2009 according to this report:
[urlhttp://www.leagueunlimited.com/article.php?newsid=18505[/url
Worst performance in each position - Kaufusi 'wins' the prop award. It says:
PROP: Antonio Kaufusi (Cowboys). Has there ever been a greater fall from grace? A marquee signing from the Storm, the ex-Kangaroo foward struggled all year to get a start on the bench let alone make the run-on side, this despite the Cowboys being major under-performers. Some tipsters had North Queensland winning the premiership yet they even lost their aura of invincibility at home with several poor defeats. For Kaufusi it was the accumulative effect of low standard performances that won him his award.

| something not quite right about rovers 2 potential sigings then according to reports in the australina press.....
Manase Manafukoa (Cowboys). Had to be regarded as a second rower in order for a teammate to take out the prop award. Looked a player with enormous potential when playing at Souths but has been a bitter disappointment at his new club. There was not one bad performance, it was a season of ordinary efforts.
