| Even though i got a few harsh words towards the begining of the post (I still think he is a fat tank) It seems many KR fans seem to believe that cooke is no longer needed and maybe i was right in saying he is not a Stand off, other then his long looping miss out pass what has Paul Cooke actually got in his locker (Other then stuff no one is aloud to talk about on these forums). In all honesty he made a mistake moving across to KR and should try his hand @ some one like Whitehaven or Leigh..

30596_1286642206.jpg If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

| Good luck to him, seems to have got his life back on track and I think with his excellent understanding of the game he could make a very good coach.

| James Webster in 05 IIRC, another great coach-in-the-making I reckon.

| Forever grateful to Cookie for ensuring Rovers survival from relegation in 2007 ensuring our long term future as a top-flight RL team because had we not survived, we'd not have been granted a licence in 2008 and we'd probably still be kicking around in the Championship.
He was a big part of our 4th place finish in 2009 (yes we actually finished in the "top-four" - not just speaking about it).
Good luck to him as coach of Donny.
