Not harsh, just reality. I am grateful to Cooke for his time at Rovers, and if Hull fans look back to the Challenge Cup win with admiration, then I'm sure every Rovers fan will look back on that first season with as much if not more admiration.
The fact is though that Dobson has signed a long deal with Rovers, and although the pair work well on the pitch, I think it could step up a few more levels and that won't happen with this pairing.
So for me, if he stays fair enough, but if he goes, it means Rovers are looking to build on this season which even with the last few results, has been a success.
As for who signed/wanted Cooke, I haven't got a clue, can't help you with that one.
