I think he has a lot of potential and that there is a lot more to come. I think the judgments are harsh, given that this is such a pivotal position and there are no hiding places. It is a question of practice and chances, and it is important that the coach keeps faith with Chaz to develop him. When Cooke returns he should go back to stand off, but I think that Chaz should remain in the 17 so that he can practise his play making. He is still young for a stand-off half and learning.
I bet Cooke is paid 5 times as much as Chaz. Does he give 5 times the value?
Chaz has had a couple of decent performances and a few non-remarkable ones but people have to be patient and understand that coming in as a 6 or 7 is far more challenging in respect of the fact that he can't "feel" his way into games as a three-quarter or a forward.
I think the guy needs to trust his own ability a bit more and not be so nervous but that's easier said than done which is why it will take a few games in a few games out to bring him on slowly.

It's not because of who he plays for or anything like that, just don't rate him and I don't like his of field attitude thinking he's all it.
