I am very lucky in that I own a wii and a PS3 but why people are dissing either is beyond me, The wii cant compete with the ps3 graphics wise which is obvious , however the ps3 cannot compete with the wii interactively which again is obvious.

Both consoles have their strength and weakness but releasing RL for the wii is a very good move IMO, the game type lends itself to the wii's interactive wireless technology where the player can be fully involved in the gameplay.

I would love it to be released on PS3 in the future but I suppose Sidhe would like to firstly see sales figures ect before investing any other money or time into it, it's upto RL fans to get out there and prove there is a market for sports games other than Footie, buy the game and then rate it highly on the gamer sites and stop knocking the one company that at least tries to give league fans a decent console game to play.

Wahey, a really sensible post! Absolutely damn right, the sales in volume are only going to be on the Wii as a starting point, if every Wii-owning RL fan bought the game, there'd be a much better chance of it coming out on PS3 or Xbox360.

But like I said elsewhere, the game needs to be good, I wouldn't expect people to buy a tosh game just because it's Rugby League.

What isn't going to work is to say "I'm not buying it on the Wii, even though I have one, because I want it to come out on the PS3." Sidhe won't be able to afford it, it'll never happen.

Although I'd rather see a PC version than a PS3 one.

Game have down for a 24th March release date, not 18th as on the RL3 website. I'm quite looking forwarding to playing it, gameplay over looks everytime.

I pre-ordered it in store about 3 weeks ago, telling me I'd receive it on the 19th, does this mean I am not, and I will have to wait until the 24th?

Probably. I've never had one come more than 2 days early.

Official word is UK release has been delayed a further 2 weeks.

Still got it on preorder so suppose we'll just see when it turns up, but looking like first friday in April now for us. (2nd)

Just rang Gamestation and it's now 9th April. Not good news. The Aussies are loving it on the Sidhe forums

Under 2 weeks now

when the game was schedueld for late 2009 i couldnt wait! then it got bumped back to march 18th and i thought "grrr but fair enough" then march 18th got close and bam back to april the 9th "this better be worth it!!!" and now the 16th of april, and now i am thinking "well sod that, it can go do with, with its out of date squads and all!" i will be well and truly waiting for this game to endup in the bargain bin before i buy it!
