I have downloaded the patch but can somebody tell me what to do next, when i try to run the patch it has an error report and tells me to download it again, which i keep doing.

The patch has successfully fixed my longstanding problem of crashing after 2 seasons.

BUT...

Next problem appears to be a game-killer: I've hit the 20x20 limit on the number of players on £20k+ salaries, so I went to promote from the junior Academy. But all the automatic offers I'm making to the players are for £400pw, which is a £20k salary. So in other words, I have no possibility of reducing the number of players on £20kpa, because nobody new will play for less than that. If I sack an existing £20k+ player, I can only replace him with a new £20k+ player. This gets me a whopping fine from the RFL and severe Board displeasure each time.

New problem my copy loads up fine but after an irregular amount of time my computer just switches off.

As this only happens when i'm trying to play the game i'm assuming its the game

ive had the game running on two seperate systems for long periods of time without experiencing this.

it sounds like the pc is possibly overheating.

there is nothing more i can do than get this game running perfectly
on the two systems i have access to, explain that this is the case on the website, then offer it as freeware.

there is nothing special about the two systems i used for testing, although they both do have graphics cards.

i have downloaded it but when i click on it is cums blue background but i can see the writing but no pictures is anybody else expercing this if so can u help me please.

Have you put the patch into the folder where the original game was installed and replaced the original .exe file?

If you are a Windows users:
right click on the downloaded patch, click cut.

then go to 'my computer' and to your 'C' drive.

then go into the Program Files folder and look for a folder called RLM08, and go into it.

Then right click inside the opened folder and click paste, a dialog box will come up asking if you want to replace the old file with the new one, click ok.

Now close that, and start the program as you normally would from the desktop or start menu or however.
