As Broncos, ive made some decent signings, most notably, James Graham and Tony Williams!

I'm getting really annoyed at the controls. I try to throw a first time ball out but must be pressing B slightly before pressing the RB button and as soon as my player catches it he chips it straight to the defence as opposed to firing a pass out. Cost me 8 points against Castleford and I ended up drawing despite being comfortable throughout.

Two things that are really annoying me about career mode.
1. If you're a super league team, at the end of your first season, you have a ridiculous amount of money to sign pretty much however you want, but if you're an NRL team, you haven't got enough money to re-sign all your players.
2. In the second season, all your players have stupid squad numbers if you're a super league team. This is only a minor annoyance but seeing Wellens wearing number 10, Roby with 2 and new signing Ben Matulino with number 1 really really winds me up.

Prop forwards running the length of the field is annoying as f*ck

After a little while getting used to it, I'm really impressed with the game.

You have to keep in mind these guys don't have the big budgets of the Fifa's of this world - they only have so much to work with.

I think the presentation is great, the stadiums are very impressive and the commentarys acceptable. Player likenesses in the SL aren't good but it is an Australian based game.

As for gameplay, I think when you get used to the games limitations and play around them its very enjoyable. It is attritional but some might say thats realistic. There were a lot of interceptions for me at first but you just need to learn not to play long balls close to the line. My main gripe is you can't seem to do anything to speed up the play the ball and its almost impossible to scoot from dummy half and get anywhere.

Overall though, pretty good - far better than I was expecting.

The game is ludicrous online. The fend is far too effective.

Having played it for a while now on different settings with different teams, in general I'm very impressed. It's a massive improvement on the last effort.
There are a few niggling little things:
The interceptions, even as MadDogg points out if you don't use long balls close to the line, there are still too many. Especially as you can rarely take advantage of making an interception yourself as the camera turns around and means you stop running, or you were pressing a tackle button so end up kicking the ball.

Too many times I find props running out on the wing or at centre, and often find centres and wingers well out of position in defence, defending in the middle of the pitch.

As El Camo says, the fend is far too effective.

It might be me being a bit rubbish but I find it very difficult to get a drop goal away even using the tactic and pass to playmaker button. Also the pass to playmaker isn't always very useful, despite having McGuire and Sinfield near the play the ball I've used the pass to playmaker button and ended up with Darrell Griffin, Ian Kirke and Kallum Watkins receiving the ball. Who aren't exactly my first choice when trying to kick my way downfield.

Customising teams isn't easy, and the limit of 14 is annoying.
Also, how do you replace the original teams with customised one in the franchise mode? Or is it not possible?

On the whole, especially considering the last effort, I think these are mostly minor issues and its a pretty good game overall

I'd say as a whole I'm very impressed.
If the interceptions, fend and in-play kicking (which was actually better on number 1) were sorted out, it would be a really good game.

When you select your team to use in franchise mode, I think you click Y to replace the original team with an edited/created team.
