I am the developer of Rugby League Legends. There is a bug that was introduced in the current version for older devices (iPhone3G, iPod touch 2nd Gen) that means there are no players on the field. Pretty crucial part of league, I know

Good news is that a fix was submitted to Apple a few days ago, so give it about 3 or 4 more days and it should be in the App Store. Hit update and it should be sorted.

Please let me know if you have any other thoughts/issues/ideas, would love to hear them!

Im on an iPhone 4 and every time I tap on a player to pass the running player turns round instead.

Weird...

I haven't come across that problem, on multiple iPhone 4's.

Does the pause button work for you? Also, try aiming your touch at different parts of the player. i.e. i think near his feet might have a higher contact area. Or try more to the left, or more to the right of the player.

Maybe I am so used to it i know exactly where to touch.. I am very interested to know how and where you are touching it, holding the phone etc. maybe i haven't accommodated for something.

I just try to get the player tbh but it will take multiple attempts usually resulting in a tackle or a running in the wrong direction and then getting tackled lol. I don't know why its doing that. If it helps I tested it on my iPod touch 3g too and that seems broadly similar if slightly more sensitive.
